■ Key Responsibilities
-Provide seamless Japanese ⇄ English interpretation.
-Provide interpretation and hands-on support during pre-opening training sessions (covering customer service, food preparation/cooking, and other store operations).
-Act as the main interpreter during online interviews and online staff meetings.
-Assist and facilitate smooth communication between the Japanese management team and local staff.
-Accurately grasp the deep intentions of Japanese conversations (including proverbs) and localize them clearly for the local team.
-Proactively study and prepare for industry-specific vocabulary (e.g., memorizing specific meat cuts/parts) to ensure accurate translation during training and daily operations.

■ Qualifications (Must-Haves)
-Japanese Proficiency: JLPT N2 level (Required).
-Speaking & Comprehension: Near-native conversational fluency. Must have a deep understanding of Japanese proverbs, idioms, and cultural backgrounds.
-Willingness to Learn: Must be highly motivated to proactively study and catch up on specialized F&B industry terms (such as meat parts/cuts).
-Cultural Bridging: Strong ability to understand both Japanese and Filipino cultures to effectively localize instructions and intentions.

■ Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
-Candidates of Japanese-Filipino descent (Half-Japanese) are highly encouraged to apply!
-Previous interpreting experience in the F&B (Food & Beverage), restaurant, or food import industry, particularly for new store openings.
