Job Summary :
The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to grow the company’s market share in structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business/project opportunities, maintaining relationships with contractors, developers, and consultants, and ensuring that all business development activities align with
company goals for revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
A. Sales and Business Development / Marketing & Promotion
> Manages and leads the day-to-day operation of the Sales & Marketing Team;
> Creates effective strategies for the entire Sales Team to find leads, prospects or clients;
> Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
> Conducts research on organizations and individuals to find new opportunities for the company;
> Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets such as general contractors, design firms, developers, manufacturing, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
> Leads or supports sales presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slideshows and product demonstrations as may be requested by the customers;
> Lead negotiations, prepare contract documents, and close deals in alignment with company pricing and profitability objectives.
> Assigns RFQ number and monitors Estimating Schedule; and
> Communicates with the client about the details not clear on the drawings and project requirements.
> Manage client accounts and ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and support.
> Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to secure repeat and referral business.
> Negotiate terms and close deals to maximize profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
> Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones;
> Coordinates with other departments of the organization for a smooth work process;
> Contacts potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings;
> Maintain updated sales pipelines and forecasts.
> Manage the sales pipeline and track progress against sales targets.
> Creates presentation for a yearly business review and business planning; and
> Develop and execute marketing initiatives to strengthen the company’s brand presence in the steel fabrication and construction industry.
> Oversee the preparation of marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, and digital content showcasing company capabilities and past projects.
> Maintain and enhance the company’s online presence (website, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms).
> Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitor activities, and potential business areas.
> Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote services and capabilities.
> Performs other related task that maybe assigned by the VP for Operations.
C. Strategic Planning and Coordination
> Collaborate with management in setting annual sales targets, budgets, and business development strategies.
> Analyze project trends, construction forecasts, and competitor pricing to support strategic decision making.
> Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
> Ensure coordination between sales, project management, engineering, estimating and production to meet client requirements, project timelines, and quality standards.
D. Leadership and Team Development
> Lead, coach, and mentor the sales and marketing team to enhance performance and achieve individual and team goals.
> Promote a collaborative work environment between sales, design, and operations teams.
> Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, and customer focus.
