Our client, one of the world’s leading consulting firms, is seeking a Manager – Consulting (Japanese Speaking) to lead transformation projects for Japanese enterprises expanding across Southeast Asia. This role involves bilingual leadership (Japanese–English), cross-country project delivery, and business development responsibilities within mixed teams comprising local staff and Japanese Consulting Staff (JCS).

Project Locations: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines

【 Responsibilities 】
- Define and deliver growth and innovation strategies, including mid-term strategy, new business development, market entry, and partnering initiatives.
- Plan and execute M&A across Southeast Asia, including strategy, target screening, commercial due diligence, and post-merger integration.
- Drive industry-specific transformations in TMT, FSI, ER&I, Automotive, Consumer Business, and Life Sciences & Healthcare by integrating strategy, operations, digital, and PMO capabilities.
- Enable technology-driven transformation across domains:
• SAP (ET&P): S/4HANA, IBP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, SAC – full lifecycle delivery
• Supply Chain (SC&NO): Digital supply chain, Anaplan planning, AI forecasting, network optimization
• Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T): Digital transformation vision, enterprise architecture, governance
• Engineering (Cloud & Platforms): Cloud strategy, AWS/GCP architectures, API, MDM
• AI & Data: Analytics and machine learning across R&D, manufacturing, sales, after-sales, and corporate functions
• Customer: CRM/CX, digital marketing, front-end digitization
• Human Capital: HR transformation (Workday/SF), change management, organizational design, HR M&A/PMI
• Risk & Forensic: Investigations, forensic accounting, financial and economic crime (Thailand hub, SEA coverage)

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

(Must)
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Manager-level or above experience in a consulting firm
- Proven track record in proposal preparation and business development
- Proficient in Japanese (minimum JLPT N1) in speaking, listening, and writing to communicate effectively with Japanese clients.
- Business-level English proficiency for internal communication and collaboration with colleagues

(Advantageous)
- Experience in regional consulting projects across Southeast Asia
- Experience delivering global projects in mixed local/JCS teams
